Physics master class

On Tuesday 28 March, A level Physics students attended the Cavendish laboratory at Cambridge University

The focus for the day was High Energy Physics that looks at particle physics, in particular the research that led to the discovery of the Higgs Boson particle at the Large Hadron Collider.

The day consisted of lectures and lab sessions where students got to access data form the LHC.
