Safeguarding and Welfare Advice

At Neale-Wade Academy the Safeguarding and Welfare of our students is of upmost importance.  This section contains information which we feel will be of benefit to parents/carers.  By working together we can provide our students with the information and knowledge they need to fulfil their potential in a safe environment.

Students have attended an assembly on the topic of E-safety. They were spoken to about how to keep themselves safe when using the internet and mobile devices. Advice was also given about what they should do if they were worried about anything they may have seen or contact they  may have had with someone. Please see below the  PowerPoint used. They also watched a short film showing the dangers of online grooming. Over the next few days your child will be given some information booklets on how to stay safe on social media sites.
