Y13 student gains apprenticeship at Addenbrookes

We are delighted that Kiera Doncaster one of our year 13 students has been successful in gaining an NHS Nursing Pathway Apprenticeship at Addenbrookes Hospital.

Kiera is one of only 40 students out of over 200 applicants to gain this position.  She will train at Addenbrookes in association with Anglia Ruskin University to achieve a Degree in Nursing.  She begins this position at the beginning of July.

Kiera was supported through our Not Going to University Program including mock assessment centre experience, practice on interview techniques and employer engagement sessions.

Kiera said “I really benefited from the help and support I received at school in getting me prepared for the apprenticeship application process, particularly the mock assessment centre.”

We wish Kiera every success in her new career!
