The Learning Resources Centre (LRC) is a facility used by students in lesson time as well as lunch times and after school. During lesson times students are involved in completing projects linked to their subjects using fiction and non-fiction resources as well as laptop computers.
Outside of lesson times, students will be reading, changing books, revising or doing homework.
Students can also socialise and interact by playing chess and other strategic board games.
The new library catalogue (ECLIPSE) provides a list of all the information and resources available, linking to relevant websites in association with topics and curriculum areas. ECLIPSE is also interactive and students can take part in quizzes and recommend their favourite reads.
LRC events, deadline dates and local interest activities will be advertised via the website and via the Students' blog.
