About Us

Life Skills

The aim of the life skills curriculum is to create confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives. Our students will become responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society. The curriculum has been designed to give the students a good grounding in the topics outlined by the Cambridgeshire PSHE Services and supported by the recommendations of the PSHE Association. Topics covered over the student’s time at the Academy are based around three themes: relationships, living in the wider world which encompasses citizenship, finance and careers education and health and wellbeing. Lessons promote spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development and help prepare students for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences they will encounter in life.
