Students at Neale-Wade Academy celebrate GCSE achievements
Today we have been delighted to celebrate the achievements of our Year 11 students, who have secured an impressive set of GCSE results.
They join young people across the country as they find out their results following exams in May and June.
With their GCSEs behind them, students at Neale-Wade are now looking forward to new opportunities that await them at sixth form or college, in apprenticeships or in the world of work.
Our overall highlights for 2026 are:
- Best GCSE outcomes in four years.
- Improved across all key measures.
- English and Maths Grade 5+ increased by 5 percentage points.
- English and Maths Grade 4+ increased by 8 percentage points.
- Attainment 8 also showed positive improvement.
The notable individual achievements from students this year include:
- Cerys Pearce, 1 Grade 9, 2 Grade 8, 4 Grade 7, 3 Grade 6 and L2D
- Stanley Goddard – 1 Grade 8, 6 Grade 7, 3 Grade 6
- Veronica Braam – 1 Grade 8, 4 Grade 7, 4 Grade 6
- Ruby Campbell – 2 Grade 8, 2 Grade 7, 2 Grade 6
